I don't believe in micromanagement; instead, I believe in empowering team members and providing support. I believe a happy team is a productive team so I actively listen to employees and value both negative and positive feedback

UX ALIGN MEETING
Conducting UX alignment meetings once a week to ensure everyone is aligned with common objectives and cross team projects. Do we see any red flags? Is anyone stuck? 

LEADS
Collaborating with Team Leads to help them work strategically, owning and understanding the business objectives of each Product team. 
Weekly meetings 1-1 with Leads.
Supporting Team Leads to better be able to take design decisions and explain the rationale behind them.

CONFLICT HANDLING
Conflicts happen and the best way to deal with them is to make people talk to eachother and help them come up with a solution, rather than getting stuck in what happend.

PROJECTS - SUPPORT
Setting up KPIs and goals,  Providing feedback and ensuring the team's productivity, adding strategic thinking and bringing a holistic view to all projects
UX Principles: Consistency, hierarchy, Usability etc. 
UX Methods: User Research, Usability Testing, IA, Prototyping, User journey mapping, A/B testing etc

CROSS TEAM 
Close colab with other cross functional teams, department managers; PO, IT, Sales, Brand and global stakeholdes. 

IMPROVEMENTS
I always strive to improve things to improve team colabs, speed and deliveries in projects and cross team work.

How others describe me as a leader

How others describe me as a leader

Once a year I send out a survey to everyone in my team, asking them feedback about me in my role.
"How would you rate our colab?", "How supportive do you feel I am for you in your role and work?" etc. On a rating from 1-5 in the end year result of 2024, everyone gave me a 5 where no one had any feedback on how I could improve in my role. 

"I find working with Nilla uncomplicated and pleasant. She is engaged with any work-related issues I might have and provides constructive feedback/solutions when needed. Also, her personal qualities of leadership and empathy add a lot of value in those situations."

"You are a very supportive manager and always make sure we, as a team, have everything we need to do our job most effectively."
